Patrick Lewis Dowse (b.1994) is an editorial and documentary photographer from the North-East of England currently based in London. His clients include The Guardian Weekend, Monocle Magazine, and Escapist Magazine.
As well as carrying out assignments for editorial and commercial clients he also produces his own personal documentary work. His long term project focuses on working with portrait and landscape, he explores the impact of the social-economic change that occurred in the North-East of England in the mid-to-late 20th century. His current project is a body of work that aims to challenge the power that photographers have in reinforcing and often creating identities within a 21st century society, for better or worse.
Patrick is currently assisting Chris Steele-Perkins.
